The Last Waltz (A Tribute to The Band) Tickets are now on sale for SoundTracks of a Generations homage to the Iconic Rock group THE BAND takes a slight turn from when we performed at the Arcada in January of 2020 The Premise of the show has always and will always be built around the Martin Scorsese film that documents the final concert on Thursday, November 25, 1976. It was held at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom, the same venue where The BAND first performed back in April of 1969. Booked by legendary Impresario and Promoter Bill Graham who had promoted dozens of concerts in between those years! This Rockumentary shares the storied highlights of the concert weaving a multimedia show with LIVE MUSIC by some of Chicago’s finest musicians and singers. Covering Rock icons like Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Joni Mitchell & this year we include The Staples Singers and Emmy Lou Harris’ contributions!
