The Des Plaines Theatre is pleased to announce our weekly $1 Film Series. Join us for some family fun as we feature “Shrek” on our huge video wall. Concessions will be available for purchase. Doors will open at 6PM | Movie will begin at 7PM.
No tickets or reservations needed. Simply pay your $1 at the door. All seating is General Admission.
PLOT: Shrek is an ogre who enjoys living alone in his swamp until a group of fairy tale creatures are forced onto his property. To get his swamp back, he agrees to rescue Princess Fiona for Lord Farquaad, accompanied by his talkative companion, Donkey. During their journey, Shrek discovers that Fiona has a secret of her own, and he learns important lessons about friendship, acceptance, and love.
