The Des Plaines Theatre and The Silent Film Society of Chicago are pleased to announce our monthly $10 Silent Film Series. Join us as we visit the 1920s for some family fun as we feature “The Phantom Of The Opera” on our huge video wall. Concessions will be available for purchase. Doors will open at 6PM | Movie will begin at 7PM.
PLOT: At the Opera of Paris, a mysterious phantom threatens a famous lyric singer, Carlotta, and forces her to give up her role (Marguerite in Faust) for unknown Christine Daae. Christine meets this phantom (a masked man) in the catacombs, where he lives. What’s his goal? What’s his secret?
