The Des Plaines Theatre is pleased to announce our weekly $1 Film Series. Join us for some family fun as we feature “Karate Kid” on our huge video wall. Concessions will be available for purchase. Doors will open at 6PM | Movie will begin at 7PM.
No tickets or reservations needed. Simply pay your $1 at the door. All seating is General Admission.
PLOT: Daniel LaRusso moves to a new town and struggles to fit in after becoming the target of a group of skilled karate students. He meets Mr. Miyagi, a wise handyman who teaches him karate through unique training methods that focus on discipline, balance, and respect. Daniel uses these lessons to prepare for a major karate tournament and gain confidence in himself.
