DESCRIPTION:Announcing Wednesdays and Thursdays LIVE at Bourbon ‘N Brass in Bourbon ‘N Brass Speakeasy\, located on the 2nd floor of the Des Plaines Theatre. Local musicians will be invited to perform in the intimate Speakeasy\, allowing them to showcase their talent in this brand-new Speakeasy.  These events are FREE with food and hand-crafted cocktails available for purchase.  Attending a speakeasy-style musical show is a great way to experience the history and culture of music. The intimate setting allows for a more personal connection between the audience and the performers\, creating a memorable and enjoyable evening for all involved. No RSVP required.  Seating is first-come\, first-seated.\nDOWNTOWN CHARLIE BROWN\n\nFocusing on Delta and Chicago Blues\, Downtown Charlie Brown has been performing at Chicagoland venues\, including Buddy Guy’s Legends\, since 1995. He has performed at venues across the country\, including Ground Zero in both Clarksdale and Biloxi\, Mississippi and on King Biscuit Time in Helena\, Arkansas. He was referred to as “Chicago’s Delta” by American Blues Scene and was also featured in Living Blues\, BG Blues and Music News Magazine. Artists like Muddy Waters\, Son House\, Mississippi Fred McDowell\, Koko Taylor\, Bonnie Raitt\, and Howlin’ Wolf come alive during his performances. \nDONNA HERULA\nHailed for her “superlative guitar prowess” (Living Blues)\, Donna Herula is a blues singer\, songwriter\, resonator slide guitarist and Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee. Playing a variety of blues styles\, her songwriting tips the hat to the tradition while creating a fresh\, contemporary perspective on blues and roots music. In 2022 she won Independent Blues Awards for “Best Traditional Blues Artist” and “Best Acoustic Blues Album” and was voted “Artist of the Year” by Doc’s Blues Awards in the UK in 2021. Donna also performs with Downtown Charlie Brown\, celebrating Delta and Chicago Blues.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in our intimate Bourbon ‘N Brass Speakeasy for a trip back to the 1920s amongst our vintage decor and over 300 antiques with hand-crafted cocktails\, lite bites\, and live music with Coco.  There is no cover charge or entertainment fee for the evening. Seating is first-come\, first-served.  No reservation is needed.  Doors open at 6:30.  Coco will take the stage at approximately 9:00PM.
