Over the past few years\, Justyna has written a number of songs through which she’s expressed her personal experiences and various perspectives on life.  Along with her band\, she created song arrangements that include genres such as reggae\, blues\, jazz\, soul\, and funk. An Ohio native\, she has a degree in flute from Ohio University\, but began singing after college. Anita O’Day and Blossom Dearie are influences. In addition to traditional musical training beginning in grade four\, she studied at the Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops at the University of Louisville\, Kentucky. Ms. Sullivan gives jazz concerts in small venues with some of Chicago’s finest instrumentalists.

Seating is first-come\, first-seated.  Doors will open at 6:30PM  |  Entertainment will begin at 7:30PM.\n\nParis Schutz has been playing\, writing\, and singing music as long as he’s been talking. His debut recording\, “The Terminal EP” features concert favorite “The Terminal Song” – about a man going through the different stages of coming to grips with a terminal disease. It also features the songs “Hyde Park Mother” and “Marisa.” His songs evoke characters\, stories\, and try to get to the bottom of themes we can all relate to – like love\, loss\, redemption\, acceptance\, and the gap that persists between perception and reality. He has performed locally at the Abbey Pub\, Beat Kitchen\, Reggie’s\, Uncommon Ground\, Subterranean\, and Fitzgeralds. He is also a composer for television and the web\, having scored a few web commercials and the WTTW program “IL-Informed.” A new composition will soon be the theme for WTTW’s nightly news program “Chicago Tonight.” During the day\, Paris is a broadcast reporter for that program. He has performed with many great artists and bands\, including Rolling Stones and former Miles Davis bass player\, Daryl Jones. As a kid\, he appeared in local theater\, including Chicago Shakespeare Theater\, and as part of the children’s chorus for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He is classically trained on the piano\, but taught himself blues\, jazz\, folk\, rock\, and pop. His music encompasses all of those styles\, and is sometimes upbeat\, sometimes contemplative…but always catchy.

DESCRIPTION:Considered by many to be the “Ultimate Rock Cult Hero”\, Todd Rundgren has maintained a legion of fans through four decades. A pop savant who fastidiously avoided easy categorization throughout the course of his career\, Todd Rundgren straddled the gap separating a mainstream star from a cult figure. It was in the late 1960s when Todd’s searing guitar work reached a nationwide audience\, in his role as lead guitarist for the blues-psychedelic band Nazz. He wrote and arranged almost all of the work that went into the three albums the group produced. Their music ranged from Southern blues to hard rock to heavily orchestrated symphonies. Nazz broke up in the early 1970s and Todd released two solo albums under the name of Runt. His first big solo success was in 1971 with “We Gotta Get You a Woman” and in 1973 from the double album “Something/Anything?” he scored big on the charts with “I Saw the Light” and a revision of a Nazz song\, “Hello\, It’s Me.” In the late 1970s and through the 1980s Todd formed the group Utopia\, each member an accomplished musician and vocalist. Rundgren toured in late 2019 with Micky Dolenz\, Jason Scheff\, Christopher Cross and Joey Molland of Badfinger in celebration of the Beatles’ White Album on the “It Was Fifty Years Ago Today – A Tribute to the Beatles’ White Album”. Joe has worked with countless musicians\, vocalists\, and entertainers performing at various venues both corporate and private\, as well as concert events. Joe is accomplished and versatile in a vast array of musical styles. Joe’s professional experience is not only as a sideman but as a band leader and has been a band leader organizing and leading everything from trios to sixteen-piece ensembles.

While advancing his studies in music at Loop Jr. College and Chicago Conservatory of Music\, Michael performed at several of Chicago’s local jazz clubs. He soon later became the staff guitarist for the first New York Broadway National Touring Company’s production of “The Wiz\,” that toured across the United States. Michael’s sound is true to the heart – filled with emotions\, style\, technique. His creative abilities allow him to compose his own original music\, which allows him to tell a story – going beyond normal boundaries and giving his listeners only the best!!! Michael’s style and artistry have enabled him to perform with a number of great artists\, that included Ramsey Lewis\, Najee\, Ronnie Laws\, Angela Bofill\, and Jonathan Butler\, Maysa\, Candy Dulfer\, Hank Crawford\, Jimmy McGriff\, Wayne Newton.

SUMMARY:SACRED VOICES: FROM THE VATICAN
DESCRIPTION:From Rome to Illinois: a long journey to showcase the great Roman polyphonic tradition and the greatest composers of the Sistine Chapel Choir. Next June 18th to 21st the Choir will perform in Northbrook\, Chicago\, Naperville and Des Plaines. This last one will feature also the most famous arias of Italian Opera. Sacred Voices is made up of 40 singers\, coming from the most important Roman and Vatican musical institutions. The Choir under the direction of Pontifical Cantore Adriano Caroletti will be accompanied by Josep Solè Coll\, the organist of the Pope and of St. Peter’s Basilica. The repertoire is varied\, mainly dedicated to the composers of the Sistine Chapel Choir. In particular Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina\, the prince of music\, and then Lorenzo Perosi and Domenico Bartolucci\, who wrote music and directed the Pope’s Choir in the 20th century. The music of these artists resonated and still resonates to accompany the solemn liturgies of the Popes in the Sistine Chapel and in St. Peter’s Basilica and represents the most solemn music repertoire of the Catholic Church. Sacred Voices Choir had the privilege to offer the first concert to Pope Leo XIV on June 18 2025\, in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican City\, on the occasion of the presentation of the stamp and the Vatican CD recorded for the 500th anniversary of the birth of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina. This unique CD in a special limited edition will be on sale at every concert. In the United States the Choir has already performed in Chicago (2022) and New York (2025) meeting the enthusiasm of a very large audience\, who had the incredible opportunity to hear this musical tradition performed by the very singers who serve in the Chapels of Rome and the Vatican. The tour is organized by the Cardinal Domenico Bartolucci Foundation dedicated to the legendary Maestro who directed the Sistine Chapel Choir for almost 50 years and was later made a Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI for his incredible service to the Church. \nBuy Now

After graduating from the University of Illinois and four years of extensive touring with Earl Fatha’ Hines and two years with Count Basie and his Orchestra (recording with both)\, Eric returned to Chicago and embarked on a richly diverse career that blends studio work\, concert performances and jazz festivals\, both in and out of town. He’s in constant demand on clarinet and saxophone by small groups and big bands that need a soloist who possesses both erudition and passion. Along the way he’s worked with the who’s who of jazz. He walks in the footsteps of the giants while expressing a vision that is entirely his own.
