Seating is first-come\, first-seated.  Doors will open at 6:30PM  |  Entertainment will begin at 7:30PM.\n\nParis Schutz has been playing\, writing\, and singing music as long as he’s been talking. His debut recording\, “The Terminal EP” features concert favorite “The Terminal Song” – about a man going through the different stages of coming to grips with a terminal disease. It also features the songs “Hyde Park Mother” and “Marisa.” His songs evoke characters\, stories\, and try to get to the bottom of themes we can all relate to – like love\, loss\, redemption\, acceptance\, and the gap that persists between perception and reality. He has performed locally at the Abbey Pub\, Beat Kitchen\, Reggie’s\, Uncommon Ground\, Subterranean\, and Fitzgeralds. He is also a composer for television and the web\, having scored a few web commercials and the WTTW program “IL-Informed.” A new composition will soon be the theme for WTTW’s nightly news program “Chicago Tonight.” During the day\, Paris is a broadcast reporter for that program. He has performed with many great artists and bands\, including Rolling Stones and former Miles Davis bass player\, Daryl Jones. As a kid\, he appeared in local theater\, including Chicago Shakespeare Theater\, and as part of the children’s chorus for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He is classically trained on the piano\, but taught himself blues\, jazz\, folk\, rock\, and pop. His music encompasses all of those styles\, and is sometimes upbeat\, sometimes contemplative…but always catchy.

That\, along with her natural approach to phrasing and time\, is truly what invites her audience in at every performance. After graduating from Millikin University with degrees in Commercial Music and Music Business\, Angel spent a year studying and singing throughout Italy\, where she built an international network of jazz musicians and fans that she continues to return to nearly each year for various private events and festival dates. She has most recently added Australia to her list of global performance accomplishments after spending a period of three years traveling to Sydney where she became active in the jazz community. In Chicago\, Angel has been spotlighted on numerous morning shows\, such as ABC 7’s Windy City Live and FOX 32’s Good Day Chicago and competed in top 5 standing in several televised vocal competitions. Recently she was featured on WGN-TV performing “God Bless America” and the National Anthem for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Angel currently holds a steady schedule performing in various Chicagoland venues\, as well as headlining Chicago’s finest jazz establishments such as The Green Mill\, Andy’s Jazz Club\, Winter’s Jazz Club\, Room 43 and The Jazz Showcase. Her experience and love for big band music has also provided her the opportunity as at the featured vocalist for the Pete Ellman Big Band\, The Mulligan Mosacis\, British Buddy Alumni Big Band and the Chicago Jazz Orchestra. \n\n\n
