No RSVP required.  Seating is first-come\, first-seated.  Doors will open at 6:30PM – Music will begin at 8:30PM.\n\n\nMichael Ross\, a native of Chicago\, IL. was encouraged at an early age to take private guitar lessons at the Chicago School of Music. While advancing his studies in music at Loop Jr. College and Chicago Conservatory of Music\, Michael performed at several of Chicago’s local jazz clubs. He soon later became the staff guitarist for the first New York Broadway National Touring Company’s production of “The Wiz\,” that toured across the United States. Michael’s sound is true to the heart – filled with emotions\, style\, technique. His creative abilities allow him to compose his own original music\, which allows him to tell a story – going beyond normal boundaries and giving his listeners only the best!!! Michael’s style and artistry have enabled him to perform with a number of great artists\, that included Ramsey Lewis\, Najee\, Ronnie Laws\, Angela Bofill\, and Jonathan Butler\, Maysa\, Candy Dulfer\, Hank Crawford\, Jimmy McGriff\, Wayne Newton.

That\, along with her natural approach to phrasing and time\, is truly what invites her audience in at every performance. After graduating from Millikin University with degrees in Commercial Music and Music Business\, Angel spent a year studying and singing throughout Italy\, where she built an international network of jazz musicians and fans that she continues to return to nearly each year for various private events and festival dates. She has most recently added Australia to her list of global performance accomplishments after spending a period of three years traveling to Sydney where she became active in the jazz community. In Chicago\, Angel has been spotlighted on numerous morning shows\, such as ABC 7’s Windy City Live and FOX 32’s Good Day Chicago and competed in top 5 standing in several televised vocal competitions. Recently she was featured on WGN-TV performing “God Bless America” and the National Anthem for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Angel currently holds a steady schedule performing in various Chicagoland venues\, as well as headlining Chicago’s finest jazz establishments such as The Green Mill\, Andy’s Jazz Club\, Winter’s Jazz Club\, Room 43 and The Jazz Showcase. An Ohio native\, she has a degree in flute from Ohio University\, but began singing after college. Anita O’Day and Blossom Dearie are influences. In addition to traditional musical training beginning in grade four\, she studied at the Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops at the University of Louisville\, Kentucky. Ms. Sullivan gives jazz concerts in small venues with some of Chicago’s finest instrumentalists.
