That\, along with her natural approach to phrasing and time\, is truly what invites her audience in at every performance. After graduating from Millikin University with degrees in Commercial Music and Music Business\, Angel spent a year studying and singing throughout Italy\, where she built an international network of jazz musicians and fans that she continues to return to nearly each year for various private events and festival dates. She has most recently added Australia to her list of global performance accomplishments after spending a period of three years traveling to Sydney where she became active in the jazz community. In Chicago\, Angel has been spotlighted on numerous morning shows\, such as ABC 7’s Windy City Live and FOX 32’s Good Day Chicago and competed in top 5 standing in several televised vocal competitions. Recently she was featured on WGN-TV performing “God Bless America” and the National Anthem for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Angel currently holds a steady schedule performing in various Chicagoland venues\, as well as headlining Chicago’s finest jazz establishments such as The Green Mill\, Andy’s Jazz Club\, Winter’s Jazz Club\, Room 43 and The Jazz Showcase. Her experience and love for big band music has also provided her the opportunity as at the featured vocalist for the Pete Ellman Big Band\, The Mulligan Mosacis\, British Buddy Alumni Big Band and the Chicago Jazz Orchestra. \n\n\n

Since coming to Chicago in 2006\, Justyna worked on her music career by getting her education in jazz and working with various Chicagoland musicians\, who largely contributed to shaping her musical identity. Over the past few years\, Justyna has written a number of songs through which she’s expressed her personal experiences and various perspectives on life.  Along with her band\, she created song arrangements that include genres such as reggae\, blues\, jazz\, soul\, and funk. While performing\, the group plays original material and covers in mentioned above arrangements.

After graduating from the University of Illinois and four years of extensive touring with Earl Fatha’ Hines and two years with Count Basie and his Orchestra (recording with both)\, Eric returned to Chicago and embarked on a richly diverse career that blends studio work\, concert performances and jazz festivals\, both in and out of town. He’s in constant demand on clarinet and saxophone by small groups and big bands that need a soloist who possesses both erudition and passion. Along the way he’s worked with the who’s who of jazz. He walks in the footsteps of the giants while expressing a vision that is entirely his own.

No RSVP required.  Seating is first-come\, first-seated.  Doors will open at 6:30PM – Music will begin at 8:30PM.\n\n\nMichael Ross\, a native of Chicago\, IL. was encouraged at an early age to take private guitar lessons at the Chicago School of Music. While advancing his studies in music at Loop Jr. College and Chicago Conservatory of Music\, Michael performed at several of Chicago’s local jazz clubs. He soon later became the staff guitarist for the first New York Broadway National Touring Company’s production of “The Wiz\,” that toured across the United States. Michael’s sound is true to the heart – filled with emotions\, style\, technique. His creative abilities allow him to compose his own original music\, which allows him to tell a story – going beyond normal boundaries and giving his listeners only the best!!! Michael’s style and artistry have enabled him to perform with a number of great artists\, that included Ramsey Lewis\, Najee\, Ronnie Laws\, Angela Bofill\, and Jonathan Butler\, Maysa\, Candy Dulfer\, Hank Crawford\, Jimmy McGriff\, Wayne Newton.
